whats your opinion about the japan reissues of fender jaguar and jazzmaster guitars?

i'm planning to buy one, and have to decide which. i heard the jazzmaster is more noisy... so thats a minus for that one. :)
what would be a good price? they want at least 645 euro here in germany.

a friend bought one recently. was a bit noisy, which turned out to be ground wiring problem. it just didn't have ground wired properly. we fixed that, and done some setup cause it was mailordered and after that it plays fine and sounds good.
i think jazzmaster might have same wiring problems.
all japanese fenders i came into have good build quality and are usually good instruments, although not perfect... usually they have problems with electronics (pickups, wiring...) but they are definitely value for money.
and i think around 600 euro is a fair price for it.

I have a Japanese reissue Jazzmaster, and I will admit that the bridge is finicky. However, it can be adjusted properly, and anything you just generally don't like about that bridge has a fix/alternative, like replacing the stock bridge with a Fender Mustang bridge, or using a "buzz stop" tremolo plate attachment like I did. I'm very happy with the guitar; playability and sound exceeded my expectations.

So you guys like the 24" scale? I'm assembling a Tele clone and I was thinking of making it a 24.75" or 24" scale length. I haven't played one in a while and I forget the feel. Do you guys find it cramped in the upper register areas of the neck? I am really happy with the 24.75" and 25" scales I have.
