Yeah, it was pretty great. Most unique film I've seen in awhile. Glad I went in not knowing much.

So stoked to see it, but it's not playing in the backwater market where I live yet. Btw, there was a good, long podcast interview with Boots on the Bullseye podcast recently (even though Jesse Thorn tries to liberal-ize him a bit for his NPR audience): http://www.maximumfun.org/bullseye/bull ... oots-riley

Excellent movie that was really unique. Spoiler:The one thing I didn't like was that he got the girl at the end. Or I wouldn't have minded it if it weren't so on the nose.

Saw it last night, thought it was great. I expected a Being John Malkovich vibe and wasn't disappointed. Lakeith Stanfield is tremendous, as is Tessa Thompson. Loved the nod to Michel Gondry in the stop-motion corporate video. I thought some of the TuneYards music worked, some didn't. When the first commercial for the labor force company showed all of the employees in their beds - in "dorms" made to look like slave ships - I knew I was in good hands. I'm going to have to see it again because we ended up in the first damn row.

I think it's expanding a couple hundred theatres this weekend, from 850 to 1,000 or something. Some new markets. Boots is pushing it like crazy on Facebook and Twitter. He's hustling. I live in the middle of nowhere so will probably have to wait to see it at the downtown public library theatre in a while.

Super fun movie. I liked it a lot and appreciated how unapologetically left wing it was.
