further off topic, and not that anyone asked me, but I am a very happy Kowloon Walled Bunny owner. I have never used or heard a more total metal distortion for chugging and squeals. I currently run all knobs all the way up and have a bunny drive directly preceding and the two together are about my favorite guitar sound. want a limited edition version. don't need, can't afford, still want.

I ve been thinking of doing another of these and installing a mini three-way toggle to switch between germanium, silicon, and LED on the clipping side, just for fun. Could do it for the other diode too, for maximum TOAN hounding.I'm thinking a little pot that increases the amount of hissssss present at all timesPlus there has to be some kind of non-functioning flashing light on that thing...Can we get the logo to flash?

Could do it for the other diode too, for maximum TOAN hounding.I might be interested in one of these Balls KWB too. I've had a lot variants of this pedal circuit (block Distortion+, tan Ross, black Ross, yellow DOD 250, EQD Gray Channel). My favorite of the lot is the black Ross (silicon diodes), but I really liked the LED setting on the EQD.If you guys really want to get all tweaky, my Ross distortion has a socketed opamp and I've tried a bunch of different ones in there. I thought the Burr Brown OPA2134PA sounded the best for lower overdrive for bass, which is what I really like this pedal for. I'd say it has a little less compression and slightly more low end. Maybe not the best one if you want a lot of distortion. As an aside, Ross Distortion pedals sound pretty bitchin' with a dying battery. Goes way into the Neil Young fuzz territory. Might be fun to have a built-in pot to starve the shit out of the battery/power...
