It's like I just took an SM-57 filter off all my records!

Past year or so, I've been very fortunate, as I've been gifted a bunch of nice components, and it all kind of came together.Neighbor gave me a Pioneer SC-57 receiver, as he upgraded to a full McIntosh setupSame neighbor gave me a DefTec sc 2000 sub. He's an awesome dude on many levels, natch.Father in-law gave me some Klipsch SB-1 speakersI had my Pioneer PL-117D turntable serviced by SaturdaysI had a grado gold stylus I don't even remember buyingAnd I finally figured out that my magnavox dvd player is also a solid cd playereverything sounds awesome over here. I've never been a stereo guy, so all of this kinda falling in my lap has been a real treat. I think I spent less than $200, and then folks took care of me.charmed life?

I use a Grado Prestige if I spin records on WMSE, killer cartridge for not tons of money. And it's cheaper than the Goldring Elektra.

Rocking a very cheap setup right now but it works well enough (now that I've fixed the turntable) and I'm happy with how it sounds.
