Tanya Donelly.So much of what made the Throwing Muses sound so original was her distinctive and agile playing. Her sound changed markedly as she went from Strat/Jazz Chorus to Les Paul/JCM 800 by the time of Real Ramona and Breeders Pod. Less busy - more simpler, beefier melodies. Listen to "Red Shoes" and "Iris" from the above LPs.

I think Rory Gallagher is underrated in certain circles. One of those Strat guys that use every bit of the guitar he s got on. I like the first Taste LP but really I prefer the shit ton of live videos on YouTube.
