I found that if you take the foam out of them they open up a tiny bit in the high end. maybe the foam in mine was just super old and no longer really transparent, but i did it to all of mine and like it. also neat to pair on a guitar cab with a darker mic. I grab them every time I see one for super cheap, which is still pretty regularly.

Everything goes into a Sony MX-16 8 channel mixer and out to a Tascam 488. That s the whole studio.
