As stereo microphones like Royer (for ribbons), Neumann, are all very expensive, I was surprised to see the Avantone CK-40 pretty cheap. Also, I don't find other stereo microphones at this price. Generally, I use 2 mics (blumlein) facing the drums but I find this takes much time.So, has someone ever tested the Avantone CK 40?
