I voted for her in spite of her lousy right-wing platform, and I'll hold my nose and vote for whoever the Dems run in 2020. I hope it's Sanders or Warren so I can vote my conscience, and I hope to god Biden doesn't get it, but I'd vote for him if I had to.Anytime anyone here acknowledges that some gross thing about a Dem candidate is gross, you swoop in and tell everybody that that's why Trump won and is going to win again etc. I don't buy it. We're allowed to discuss it when people who are ostensibly on our side fuck up.my opinion is that yes, people shitting repeatedly on clinton during the months leading up the election did have an impact on the outcome. sure, YOU may have gone ahead and held your nose and voted for her, but you are completely disregarding the impact all of the negativity, the people whom you may have dissuaded from taking part in voting by pushing the "she's just as bad as him" narrative.the fact is, i was saying this in september of 2016 and all of the smartest people on this board whom are not in any way a bunch of dumb swarmy know it all shitheads, assured me that they were correct to equate the two candidates. one of the best ones was the clown who stated that the Supreme Court seats wouldn't matter if Clinton lost. so smart and talented, the lot of you.
