Just finished editing the second half of my interview with FM notimeforlove. I learned a lot about a lot. It'll be up at midnight on Saturday, barring unforeseen circumstances. It's going well. A lot of people are listening. Thanks to those of you who have shared it on social media. I will be bringing cans of espresso to the PRFBBQ if anyone wants one. I'm thinking of bringing like eight cans or so. Should I bring more? They'll be like $14.Thanks for listening.

It's always free, and FM dftr does it out of his own time and pocket. This award would be well-deserved and could keep it really going, so please do vote:https://the73percent.com/projects/-Lg1wLa0CdpXiOXULpLQC&R is currently in a pretty close race for second place, but getting this thing up to #1 would be gold hardware great.Done voted. The voting / login thing for the site is a little confusing, so the first time I tried voting I thought I had done it and it turned out I didn't actually vote, so everyone please stick with it all the way through and vote proper for this thing!

Thanks, y'all. Looks like the top handful of finishers go to a final round where a bunch of Swedes decide who gets how much money, so things are looking super great.I really appreciate it so much. Episode 14 is out now, with an interview I did before the PRFBBQ with Sam Paulsen of Man or Astroman? and We Vs. The Shark. She was great. Episode 15 comes out Saturday night. You get to hear me at my most Southern, since I'm talking to Boo Ray, singer/songwriter living in Nashville. We're from nearly the same part of North Carolina originally, so my accent comes roaring back from the shelf where i left it.Episode 16 is gonna be nuts. I interviewed Patrick Nahoda. He's another Nashville guy, but he narrowly escaped being in a flashover when he was a wilderness firefighter in Northern California. He tells the whole story in our interview and it's wild. WILD.

Speaking of Spotify, I have been thinking hard about FM Andrew's suggestion, and I am now doing a Spotify playlist for every episode. That playlist will contain some songs from each week's guest, some songs from bands that I have met while out on tour (because Pinky Doodle Poodle is always on tour) and some PRF bands, because I have not forgotten where I came from.Right on! Will check out!

Here's some news:Episode 17 has been up for a few days. I interviewed recording engineer Richard Salino about surviving brain cancer. It was a pretty intense talking to him about that. You can listen on the Patreon page, though I think that most people are listening on Podcast apps, which brings me to my next bit of news: Crash and Ride is now available on Spotify. Speaking of Spotify, I have been thinking hard about FM Andrew's suggestion, and I am now doing a Spotify playlist for every episode. That playlist will contain some songs from each week's guest, some songs from bands that I have met while out on tour (because Pinky Doodle Poodle is always on tour) and some PRF bands, because I have not forgotten where I came from. And, oh, hey, the Thor Harris interview comes out Saturday at midnight.AND that's not even the biggest news, but the rest will have to wait for the Official Announcement.
