Continuing Adventures in Asking Cancer to Fuck Itself

I just wanted to post here since folks had some nice words for me. My mom just (like three hours ago) got out of surgery for a mass in her pelvic area. The surgeon told us that he is 95% sure that they turned out to be benign ovarian cysts. Which means that the only cancer my mom has is her breast cancer that has responded very, very well to her chemo. I am overcome with relief and am currently trying not to cry at work.

last year the eye doctor found a choroidal nevus on my retina (in layman's terms, I got a bloopus in my peeper). In some cases can these can turn into melanoma, so he sent me to a specialist for annual check-ups to make sure it hasn't grown. Yesterday was my first annual check-up, and it hasn't grown. So I don't got eyeball cancer! Wasn't too stressed about it, but I'm still feeling relieved.
