Workout/Exercise Playlists 2019

No surprise everyone here works out to TJL, HOF, Hot Snakes, Helmet. Lots of Electric Wizard and stoner/doom for me over the years as well. Years ago I often ran to select "postrock" tracks (Tortoise, Do Make Say Think, Ganger, etc). Also lots of Archers of Loaf back in the day. Other than never liking Helmet, I've been sick of everything above for quite a while. I've been trying to discover new stuff w Spotify but it ain't happening so far. Maybe I'm just too old for music and too old for exercise now. Last year it was a lot of Elder and now I'm sick of all their stuff.

I, also, have never been a helmet person. My work-work playlist is reliably 90s electronica. At the gym, lush lofi electronica works for me.Also a huge fun of J Dilla and other hip hop beat instrumentals: https://open.spotify.com/album/1rkeTe6U87qi8yCRuaAjL7?si=26c8qveJQIGOluf5DM6WTwhttps://open.spotify.com/album/5kTINh4kyYiCLhneXGtKDe?si=PA4U41DnS8iozccYwZlvNAJust rhythmic enough. Anyway, I doubt this works for y'all. Smooches anyhow!

90% of the time I want to get aggressive and push myself hard for 40+ mins. The most dependable music for this task is Hatebreed (anything, but Rise of Brutality is my fav) and the first 2 Cro-Mags albums. Minor Threat, Entombed and Pantera are also mixtape highlights year after year.If I'm in a good mood and want to stretch out into a slow sweat, I tend to go for lush music like Deftones, Type O Negative (October Rust), Sade (Love Deluxe) and Duran Duran (Rio).
