As some of you know, I purchased a condo in Dayton Ohio a while back. Since then I have been heard to encourage folks to do the same, if only in my own self-interest, wanting to have friends around. But I actually think having you guys buy the other units nearby would be a very workable version of this vision- they are inexpensive ($35-60k, 2-3 bedroom 2 bath, attached garages). There is a community room that could be used as a practice space/venue. They are right on the interstate, and within easy driving distance of pretty much everywhere. Plus, unlike a giant commune, we can all maintain our own weird, idiosyncratic lifestyles without having to compromise, share finances, etc. Also, there is a pool.So yeah, Springhaven Commons -lets make this a thing.
