On the gamechanger synth I think they have tried to stress that it is not a noise box and can get regular synth sounds. In this video from a week or so ago at the Brooklyn synth show they demoed it and towards the end of the video the last 2 or 3 minutes I think you are beginning to see what is unique as well as the magnetic field oscillator which seems unique. http://www.synthtopia.com/content/2019/ ... ynth-expo/I am sure there will be more video on the unique stuff it does as it is available to the general public.

A physicist in the UK just made some guitar strings where the E,A,D and G strings bend in tune with each other while using a whammy bar. I got one of the prototype sets and they're really cool. Besides the cool thing that they do, they're really nice strings. http://www.kempacoustics.com/#about

To me it sounds more like the chord stays in tune like on a pedal steel.
