I m cool with the bigsby trem but wouldn t mind giving these strings a go if it worked. I believe they only work with strat trems right now although he is going to be making them for other trems soon apparently. I only got about 10 minutes to play around with them so far but they're fun.Presumably whatever he's done to the strings to make this work would need to be completely reworked from scratch for a Bigsby or Jag/JM bridge, as the physics are significantly different, what with tension behind the bridge to deal with as well.

I think in my imagination would say this should be a big muff and superfuzz with a switch to put one before and after. It looks like more rational minds prevailed and a superfuzz into a tube screamer which for most people might be more useful and might have been what the guy in Mudhoney used.As far as the price I am sure that with Verellen doing the build that it will be well built and the parts tuned to be really useful. The enclosure looks nice and the you know the sub pop factor is great for those who want to wear flannels and ripped jeans in their sub pop cover band. Or just older fans of the those times who now have the deep pockets to relive their youth like the hippies of yore wearing tie dyes and getting their "experience" indorsed fuzz faces, straps, strats and such. The originals are not cheap pawn shop finds as they were back in the day so this box falls into a nice sweet spot.
