Sometimes, but not necessarily. This is actually a fine song, but I think a lot of people who like it appreciate it ironically because they think it's a bad song. They think - Oh, I am so cute, rocking out to this awful song - but actually, it is not an awful song, but a good song instead. Also in this category is "The Boys Are Back in Town" and - although it pains me to say it - "Any Way You Want It".

i know a lot of people i respect and enjoy the company of who love this band. but i hate this band. and every hipster obviously has to love them.

The Radiohead hate thing I think is funny....every music board I ever go to always has people that are "Man, Radiohead is SO OVERATED, what a bunch of hipster crap!" and then act like they're the ONLY ONES in the world that "see through the hype", when in actuality that's like the prevailing view among hipsters....lots of what I would call "regular" music fans that I know LIKE Radiohead...they're like a populist neo-krautrock prog pop band or something...They sell records, fer chrissakes...Kid A debuted at Number One on the chart....and they've released at least a few records that I bet if they weren't from England and on like Gold Sound or Touch&Go people on here would poop their pants over.....

What you don't realize is that this board contains many of the first people to ever hate Radiohead. Sorry, we're two steps ahead of you!

I do admit though, I'd like them if they were on Touch and Go. That label turns everything into pure gold.
