The all new Taco Riff thread.

Because we need one.

From FM Justin Foley, via MetalSucks:

"So here’s something like an explanation: a Taco Riff is the heaviest part of a song – sometimes the whole song – where the guitar, bass and drums lock together and make the world melt in a moment of undeniable pleasure."

The definition I liked from the original thread was a riff that is 'both supremely decadent and heavy'.

Getting the ball rolling with a predictable doozy.

Yob's "Burning the Altar" is probably one of the most decadent heavy riffs I can think of. Most of it is just hitting the lowest string tuned down to stupid. But it is goddamn art, nevertheless.

Start around 2:10 for those who don't know. Kind of a Tacoception in that the last bar of the riff, where the cymbals lay off, is a mini-taco inside the larger taco.
