The definition I liked from the original thread was a riff that is 'both supremely decadent and heavy'.

Never considered that a Taco Riff personally, assuming I'm on the same page (double kick-drum bit).

If I was picking a Metallica Taco Riff supreme, then there's only one place I'd go:

I know the Taco Riff usually refers to something more headbangy, but this is the first one that came to mind.

It's actually a double layer prog taco: crunchy taco riff starts at 5:51, soft taco riff at 6:11. Enjoy!

Yob's "Burning the Altar" is probably one of the most decadent heavy riffs I can think of. Most of it is just hitting the lowest string tuned down to stupid. But it is goddamn art, nevertheless.



Start around 2:10 for those who don't know. Kind of a Tacoception in that the last bar of the riff, where the cymbals lay off, is a mini-taco inside the larger taco.
