It's basic shit to do. It's easy as hell to do. At this point it's practically habit. This "end of Covid" idea is maybe a little rushed IMO. Also, look at the flu season this year. Almost none. Works. The idea of mask as burden is some horseshit that drives me nuts. I'm completely vaxx't and still don't leave the house without one.

I'm starting a one week in office, one week WFH schedule next week. I will continue to wear one in the office, because people are allowed to be maskless if they are vaccinated. If they aren't masked, you can't ask them if they've been vaccinated yet ("privacy"). I might get some shit from those people about wearing one, but I kinda like it. I'll definitely wear one during cold/flu season. But outside? I was yelled at by someone walking on the other side of a side street in Logan Square. I was walking literally a half block from my gf's building to my car. Have fun at Pitchfork, hall monitor.

Outside is fine. I love that people are hiding about privacy in an era of posting a Tik Tok every time you take a shit.

I really enjoyed NOT catching a cold or the flu at all since the pandemic hit. When I return to traveling more for work again I will always mask up in airports, planes and other crowded situations. I think back to all the times where I got sick during or after a work trip, and how I could have prevented them. Duh!

Masking is annoying when the weather is warm, but it doesn't bother me or impinge upon my "freedom" at all.

I just want to take a moment to appreciate all the maturity, common sense and consideration for other people that has been demonstrated here.
