It's hot in L.A., which is normal, but it's a bit more humid than normal so it feels really different. Both my wife and I commented that it felt like Indiana. She coined a new term of which I am particularly fond; State Fair Weather.

It was the first genuinely muggy day of the year here in Florida as well. Just unconscionably moist (would not see), like walking into a room temperature sauna. You could feel it dampening your clothes. Not the stuff of carefree out-of-door get togethers.

Busy day - work was shit.
A chipmunk somehow found its way into the basement. Kids and Cat chased for a while, I think it's still down there.
Later in the afternoon the cat caught (I'm pretty sure a DIFFERENT) chipmunk outside.
Found some wild strawberries in the yard today, after work went back with the kids to pick some to go with vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Putting the finishing touches on another song, I think I have one more to go until the next record is ready to head off for Mastering.
