41South Side on HBO is great, and funny. There's absolutely no press about this show, just turned it on wondering if it had anything to do with Chicago. Total surprise to me.
Finished this last night and the last two episodes were amazing and devastating.tallchris wrote: Sat Jun 19, 2021 1:18 pm The Underground Railroad on Prime. Still two episode to go, but easily the most essential “tv” thing since Twin Peaks came back.
Top tier filmmaking; a lot of what Jenkins does here reminds me of Tarkovsky, which is not something I’d picked up in his feature films.
Just watched the first episode of this. I'll continue, but that cut to the end titles was fucking awful.tallchris wrote: Sat Jun 19, 2021 1:18 pm The Underground Railroad on Prime. Still two episode to go, but easily the most essential “tv” thing since Twin Peaks came back.
