Long story short, there are a lot of crap birds, but the Pelican is not one. So smoothly doth he crest.

Blue jays really are assholes, albeit intelligent ones. The scrub jays around here love to clear a wide berth.

Lots of grackles around here, and they don’t smell so great en masse. They can be real pushovers and complicate an otherwise lovely al fresco dining experience. Sometimes they will make a run for your plate while your head is turned.

I hate these things.

It's that time of year for baby gulls here in Liverpool. I used to have a balcony on the old flat and when I would let my cat out they would swoop down from the neighboring block of flats and try and shit on him. Evil little fuckers.

How’s this for a shithead? The Cowbird lays its eggs in other species of birds’ nests and has them raise their young. Or maybe it’s ingenious. It’s like dropping your baby off at someone else’s doorstep. I wonder how the cowbird makes use of its time since it has absolved itself from parenting duties?
