Re: Is anyone here NOT vaccinated yet?

My wife and I were vaccinated as soon as we could possibly get it, same with my late 60s aged parents and my mid 70s aged in-laws.

My mother works in a major Chicagoland Pharmacy and 3 of the 5 lead Pharmacists are not and do not want to and about half of their techs are not. The head pharmacist literally knows nothing, and my Mom has to fill her in on basics. One of these unvaxxed people just went to Disneyworld and then came back and went straight to Lollapalooza. These are health professionals with degrees and shit, and this is what we are dealing with.

Same here. The moment in April Oregon opened it up to "...former smokers, and ...anyone with a BMI over 28..." is was like hot diggity. Went online, in less than 30 minutes had appointments at Kaiser-Permanente for 10 days out.

Nitwit are everywhere, indeed! People have such poor skills at parsing bullshit for facts, it's mind boggling.

mRNA based vaccines and treatments are the future. This stuff has been under constant development for over 20 years and has so much potential to be more effective and targeted with fewer contraindications.

I feel lucky because my wife works for the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplant (Doctors) and every week she is talking to the leading Lung Doctors in the world and the scientists and researchers they all work with. I feel like I am at ground zero of fact and what these doctors are doing and what they feel is safe. It has eased some of my anxiety, but ramps it up some too. They have been spot on with everything they have said would happen.
