Damn. I'm so sorry.
It's not like we couldn't see it coming. I've sort of been in pre-mourning for a few years now; ever since we put ma n pa in assisted living. They've both lived long, full lives. 67 years of marriage. And they are together. Still, doesn't get any easier.

Time marches on.

While it seems like you have family, I've spent some time in this exact neck of the woods.

First, I'm really sorry that you are going through it.

Second, I'm around if there's any details or things you want to get off of your chest. Calling that disease a bitch is almost not giving it it's due.

My folks were both robust and healthy, and then old age hit like a ton of bricks. Parkinson's for mom, macular degeneration and profound hearing loss for dad.

Parkinson's is a straight up motherfucker. And thank you, I will probably need it.
