Pandemics and other like events fit in the blind spots of our cognition and warp our social dynamics, apparently, neutering our great strengths.
People are hell and tiresome.

I'm just saying it's tone-deaf to require all parents of school children to be vaccinated or fire workers if they don't want to share their medical info while the rest of the world is still playing catch-up. Especially when the vaccine is doing such a great job of preventing deaths.
