It's a generally accepted forum practice to ban people for having multiple accounts. In the modern era, though, you'd also have to ban all VPNs, anonymizers, etc. And then you get into having to report people to their ISPs, too, if they're not using those services.

It helps if FMs don't reply to them, or at least reply in general terms and without quoting them, but that - which by the way is the whole point of this thread - is impossible to get everyone on board with, because we have too many Americans around, who have to do their own special individualistic things.

Anyway, getting really involved in forum moderation would be at least a part time job, interfering with the operation of a full time recording studio, so I suggest we handle this ourselves.

I say we kill the guy.

(kidding - if whoever is behind all these troll accounts, who sometimes signs their posts krakabash, gets killed - it wasn't me)

It occurred to me recently that folks such as ourselves in places like the prf have to endure a small minority of right wing blowhards purely because that portion of western culture has a glaring lack of quality music.

Like 1 in 50 conservatives has musical tastes more advanced than their worldview and there's no place for them to go with that. Maybe as a public service someone should join the Nuge but make some really excellent whatever subgenre of rock music with Ayn Rand themed lyrics.

True, by and large, and this extends to other interests as well. I remember when Anna Karina, who I've long adored, died, and just doing a cursory Google search to see various tributes and obits pouring in. And there was one from Fox News. I remember staring at it and thinking, "Who's eating up what Hannity and Tucker Carlson have to say every day and then eagerly popping in a blu-ray of Vivre Sa Vie or whatever?"

Ultimately it's a naive thought, that might speak to my own shortcomings/lack of awareness more than anything else, but as the sort of thing to catch one off guard out of the blue it was jarring.
ZzzZzzZzzz . . .

New Novel.
