Ok i'm tired of searching Duck Duck Go. Does anyone know of a A/D convertor that is just balance or unbalanced to a thunderbolt or usb connection. Just a convertor, no gain what so ever? Also for under 500 US?

I have a wall wart adapter that's making a kind of fizzing noise when switched on. It appears to be working ok and not affecting the unit it's powering but shit like this makes me a little nervous. Anything I should be worried about? It's probably 20+ years old.

That sounds troubling, but could it be the outlet? I’ve had to replace a number of outlets that got full of dust and started frying it audibly.

What's a good expression pedal to use with a Dwarfcraft HAX2? Because it doesn't seem to work too well with the M-Audio one I have. I assume the issue is that the pot value and/or taper is wrong. I'd email "[my] old pal aen" but a cursory googling told me Dwarfcraft is out of the biz, at least for the time being.

The M-Audio one is crummy anyway, it won't stay "parked" it just drifts back to "toe-down" after a second or 2. Should I be checking around for a broken Crybaby and just make my own?

Anyone know what the going rate for a USED Gibson Les Paul Custom was in around 93-95? Just a regular stock LPC in good player condition.
