Sandler as a complete sleezeball in Uncut Gems was just wonderful! Maybe a movie with the roles cast against the usual typecasting would be good:

The tragic one: Jim Carrey
The gruff older guy: Adam Sandler
The comedic relief: Tom Cruise (see Tropic Thunder)
The Sweetheart: Frances McDormand
The heroic one: Maya Rudolph

Well, I guess that makes a bit more sense. I can at least see some merit in it.

I think Sandler is a terrible actor.

Never enjoyed any of his films.

That SNL sketch where he impersonates Axl and then the real Seb Bach shows up was funny though.
