21hah.. the Trick lever arm was already broken off when I bought that snare (part of why it was priced low). "Thanks to American Airlines", the guy told me. It's still functional though.

BTW, I bought it used probably 15 years ago, and recently wrote them for some replacement parts which they sent free of charge. Ace fucking company.
I used to use the string type cords / wires to attach and if I double tied them onto the strainer it seemed like it helped, but my fat fingers are making that harder to do these days and have been using the nylon things more.
