Good thing there came so many good things at once to console me from the disappointment over Willow. Lipstick is SO good so why does the rest of the album suck so much? Other people love it. I guess it wasn't made for me. Sad, but it happens.

I’m reluctant to post this because the band’s older music is some of the worst network-TV-drama-montage shit imaginable, but Lord Huron’s Long Lost has been in constant rotation lately. The record reminds me of the ethereal quasi-Chris Isaak music that closed out each episode of Twin Peaks: The Return.

Human Impact put out a EP. Does that count.
