Just went to get one of these at the local Cevapi shop. Good stuff!
I'm gonna try the other stuff mentioned in this thread. Chinotto though, that's not my thing.

62Som Cordials. ( https://www.somcordial.com/ )
Since putting down the booze, I’ve come to enjoy these ‘drinking vinegars’, usually mixed with soda water or tonic and some aromatics. It sounds kinda gross on paper, but these spirit free drinks have a lot of the complexity of cocktails that I miss.

64Just learned there is a shop opening in Silver Lake area of LA featuring all non-alcoholic "adult beverages."

67Kinnie, the Maltese drink, is great. Sugar, salt, bitter oranges, herbs and aromatics.
Re: Non-alcoholic beverages
68I drink gallons of AHA mango & black tea flavored caffeinated seltzer.
Re: Non-alcoholic beverages
69I’ve basically had to stop drinking for medical reasons. Being 40+ I developed Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome about 3 years ago… drinking booze equals getting up every 30mins during the night and pretty uncomfortable lower back pain… so it’s been a land of discovery for NA and ultra low beers.
So two good ones so far Lucky Saint and Beavertown’s 0 and ultra low. There’s also a London based brewery called Small Beers that brew traditional ultra low alcohol beers… the kind kids used to drink before a hard day cleaning limbs out of looms.

70I lived in Azerbaijan for a bit and used to drink that all of the time. There is also a Georgian soft drink made from tarragon that I liked.OrthodoxEaster wrote: Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:43 pm Borjomi, an extremely salty, somewhat polarizing mineral water from the Republic of Georgia. It's popular in the whole of the former Soviet Union but is apparently just now making inroads over here. Good for digestion or w/a plate of kebabs
I was surprised to discover a grape soft drink there made from saperavi grapes - which are used for an outstanding wine. Concord grape flavor is an American thing, I guess?
Every time I visit Bulgaria, I try boza to see if I get it yet. So far, nope. It is a sweetened, very slightly fermented drink made from millet.
