I'm pretty sure CBD gives me headaches. When I buy flower I make sure to get stuff that's listed 0.0% or LoQ CBD.

It seems to help my mom with her arthritis - which is great. Thumbs up for tincture.

CBN or Cannabinol is the good stuff for getting sleep. THC will eventually oxidize to CBN. Old weed is a perfect sleep aid.

NC - even though it probably gives me headaches.

An example: my fancy mastering studio flooded back in 2018. It was bad! I spent a small fortune fixing the problems and it's been 100% since then *knocks wood*. But I still get anxious every time we get real heavy rain. It sucks. It's not pleasant. Mentally I know there's very little chance of anything bad happening, but Mr. Anxiety has to keep yammering on about the worst case scenario and it's difficult to shut him up.
This is probably true. I find that the people who swear by it seem to be already mostly squared away from an anxiety perspective, but when I’ve been at my most anxious, I didn’t notice any relief from a variety of different types.

Delta 8 is legal here in TX, and gets you just as high as regular weed. I bought some thinking it would be mild, and it glued me to the couch.

enjoying cbd is like savouring the oreo cookie without the cream filling .. it's like when max says on living single " that's like taking a horse for a walk" instead of riding it but she was talking about being friends with a guy instead of riding him

I think the general gist with nearly any substance, be it a recreational drug or medication, is that, usually, it can only improve what's already there. So if one's life isn't going great, a drug probably won't put things in order in and of itself. There might be a bit of a respite, but in general the nitty gritty work toward wellness/getting out of one's own way/functionality/etc., has to be done too. And even then, the desired effect might not be present enough to be worth the bother. It's for this reason that sobriety will always be underrated.

Note: This isn't directed at anyone upthread, but rather is just an overall observation.

I've looked to jogging before CBD for trouble sleeping. Seems to usually work well. When I'm sleeping like shit I usually notice it's because work is hectic and I haven't gotten any cardio in weeks.

"Sobriety will always be underrated"- the truth of that is profound. The inherent value of sobriety also makes it inherently easy to take for granted.
