A “wine cave” is a fridge for wine, in our case about the size of a normal hotel minibar. You’ve made me realise that I have been using the name for it that my wife, who is French, uses, without knowing whether it is the same in English. Wikipedia suggests we’re exaggerating its dimensions somewhat:
