No. We know the side effects. The mRNA vaccine is not some mysterious experiment. This vague moral hand wringing about children's medical choices would effectively hobble pediatric medicine if it were to catch on
And if your timeline for acceptability is years down the road, then guess what? We don’t know what the long-term effects of COVID-19 will be either, although we have a hell of a lot more evidence of long Covid than we do for “long vaccine.”
Among vaccine skeptics, it’s an article of faith that Covid isn’t a big deal for kids but that we can’t be sure about the safety profile of vaccines until we have 50 years of data. Well, which is it? Do we or don’t we need 50 years of data before we can come to a conclusion?
