I would be thrilled to demo any of your builds, but didn't want to be loose about offering.
Let me rough in a good video recording setup - I'll send you something to make sure it's worth your shipping costs?
DIY and die anyway.

Thanks! its UV print. I used to be able to get powdercoat and UV print in quantities of 10 and boy were those the days. I've now gotta get em in quantities of 25 and ao I wind up going the etched panel route for small batch stuff.
A lot of DIY folks online seem to be using Tayda, a company I've never worked with, to do one off UV prints with good results. The price seems fair. I've thought of it for shits and giggles for one or two nicer builds for the sake of learning current layout software. I prefer the tedium of hand painting & stamping (it's a masochism thing), but I also like to learn a new skill when I can. They don't have much in classic metallic or textured finishes nor do they seem to have the biggest production capacity, but it seems like a nice option for a one off here and there.
Dr Tony Balls wrote: Wed Nov 24, 2021 9:57 am Its the worst part of my operation, for sure. I'm terrible at playing/recording well, so I tend to outsource that when I can. I've done it through members of this forum in the past and it worked out great. FM Eliya did some for me of the Balls Deluxe (http://ballseffects.com/distortion/balls-deluxe/) and another FM whose username I forgot (I believe is was Drew Rydberg) did one for the Supercharger (http://ballseffects.com/fuzz/supercharger/).
Well, I'm dogshit at playing and recording. But have you thought of rebranding your YouTube channel specifically towards your audio products? The few videos look good, and you can post audio only demos with some of your existing photos, which look very sharp. You can add some minimal text overlay to present details and info. Most of this could probably be done fine on a good iPhone. I'm not telling anyone anything new, but I think the effort could be worth while and gain momentum.

Yep. I'm still tempted to try a few eventually, but I'll have to do my homework as there's been a lot of revisions regarding the file preparation and submission processes. Not my strong suit, nor is paying for an Adobe subscription (though some have work arounds).

Yeah I read their requirements and all that. I use Affinity which they seem to think can cause problems, but if you do everything correct it should work just fine. I also dont generally have problems with graphics because mine are all so simple. If it's more complicated than an MXR from 1980....its probably too much graphically for me.

Simplicity tends to look better too.
