(relative) newbie question:

I inherited some musical equipment (primarily amplifiers and synths) from my dad, of varying quality and working order, that's just sitting in my basement unused. My wife is more or less begging me to offload some of it.

Is this the right thread to post that kind of stuff?

I will emphasize: I have no idea what I am doing.

Nails the blackface Fender sound. Everything sounds great, does have some rack rash on it but who cares, you're gonna put this back in a rack anyway. The place where Deadheads and New Order dorks can meet! Was on the hunt for a long time, but slightly prefer the Verellen tube pres I've got...will say, this works GREAT going straight into an interface for both bass and guitar.

If memory serves correct, they very much ARE a blackface style preamp in a rack.
