That's ^^^ another option, ripping all of it off. It's cheap material. The newer Beyers I have, the headband padding is a button-on thing that's removable/replaceable. Probably a better idea in lieu of something more durable/expensive.

I ended up with a pair of 770s and they sound great and are pretty comfy. However I keep snagging the cord on my wheely office chair so I gotta learn to be more mindful when boppin’ around the synth room…

Just got a pair of M40x for editing video audio in my my office (too reflective in there for speakers for the time being) and am looking forward to taking them for a whirl.

Every time I come across a thread like this one, I mention how happy I am with my K240m’s that I’ve had since the early 90’s and have been totally pleased with. That’s a shame if the modern issue has a know problem, when the ones from 30 years ago last 30+ years.

I’m wondering if there are any Bluetooth headphones that sound good and are as close to 0 latency as possible. Is that a thing? I have a pair of Sony MDR-1000x that were given to me and I really like for listening, but, for tracking the 180ms latency is fail.

Best Bluetooth latency / best sound combo? Or is that not really a thing?

eta- Based on prior good experience with Sennheiser HD580’s some years back, I am considering the HD 450BT.
