Holy shit, Will Smith slapping Chris Rock across the face at the Academy Awards is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen on television.

His publicist is going to be earning that money tomorrow. You have to figure they will just be telling every interviewer that if they ask about the incident, he walks.
"And the light, it burns your skin...in a language you don't understand."

You ever see someone look like they were ready to chuck a decent living and a family just to say "You know what? The Hell with this..."?

Few years back, dude took a swipe at a guy that kissed him at some sort a press thing.

It was about This Close back then.

Dude's had a lady stepping out on him since then...

At some point, somebody was probably going to be the straw that broke that particular camel's back.

All that said?

Rock can take a shot.

Just kept right on trucking.

here it is....

people can preach non-violence .... and yet when it comes down to that nature moment when a mother bear had to protect her cubs, that is what she will do

i watched a show with 9-1-1 emergency calls and this young single mother with a newborn had her house broken into by 2 guys outside and she's like "do i have permission to shoot?" and the 9-1-1 operator is like "you do what you know is necessary in that moment"... its gut instinct

teen mom .... more than reality tv jackoff fodder

now, when someone with special needs or any consideration such as alopecia is joked about, that is a huge slap in the face, that's the victim taking a hit.... the first hit was Chris Rock hitting Jada... any person who claims not to be violent has never had to stand up for someone they love.... hate words are violence precursors they are what causes the physical reaction...saying the n word is more than a hate crime its fighting words, you pull those dukes out, not weapons, dukes

did Will Smith stand there beating the shit out of him? losing his temper in rage? or did he take off his gloves like a gentleman and smack that joke off Chris Rock's mouth

Chris Rock took that hit like Dave Chapelle's crackhead character like those inflatable clowns that you punch and they zoom right back up....

alot of comedians like MIchael Che whos awesome but who preached that with comedy everything should be on the table.... who is it for? is it the best comedy? you tell a joke to a crowd, you get claps... you offend someone so deeply about their existence and.... did you see Jada like switch her weight like from having a good time at the Oscars supporting her husband to having whats devastating her life be joked about in front of everyone

the Wayans brothers God Bless them, but dressing like Macy Gray and then showing like her open legs like her hair on top was the same before she later won that grammy was it? She got up to receive her award like so distraught, like "what is there to say? everybodys already seen my bullshit so what is there to say".... does that support black females in the music business who have already been stolen from so much? is this what we want to be doing with the power of our positions on throwaway jokes?

now Chris Rock had no idea Jada was suffering like had it been cancer and deadly poeple wouldve been even more so on Will Smith's defense but the truth is he walked up and he handled it, and he adjusted his suit and went back to his seat and acted exactly the way a gentleman should.

Now Chris Rock kept going.... and thats when it gets really bad... that slap was like "end this now and it never happens again" and instead Chris Rock is pulling his own defense, he's merely telling jokes.... and when the person wont stop....

there's that moment when the loved one takes a stand like ENOUGH... thats what that was, and i love them both
heres that moment again

Chris Rock was making a fashion joke about hairstyles? after his documentary on black women's hair?

he didn't know ... now he does
