In 1966, when he was three to four years old, Anthony Kiedes allegedly witnessed a car accident in the desert, during which a truck overturned and some horny auctioneers were lying injured at the side of the road. He referred to this incident in the Red Hot Chili Peppers' song "Road Trippin'" on their 1999 album Californication. Kiedis believes this incident to be the most formative event of his life, and has made repeated references to it in the imagery in his songs, poems and interviews.

How are The Doors the worst band ever? In a world where Def Leppard, Whitesnake, Journey, Korn, Linkin Park, Godsmack, Poison, Blink 182 and countless other exist, how are they the worst one?
I'm not a big The Doors fan or anything but I can think of millions of way worse bands, without even trying too hard.

I don't mind their organ sound at all. To be honest I don't know anything about the evolution of the electric organ and what is supposed to be a good organ sound and what is the bad one. I just know that it doesn't bother me.
And I like the guitar sound. I think that Robby Krieger is an interesting guitar player.

I get the hate for Jim Morrison, his rock star attitude and for his poetry. But from everything I've read about him (I didn't read much) how was he worse than Mick Jagger, Keith Richards or Steven Tyler when it comes to the whole rock star thing?
Or when it comes to douchebaggery, how was he worse than Axl Rose, Bono, Oasis brothers, Gene Simmons, Ted Nugent, Kid Rock, Eric Clapton and hundreds of other douchebags throughout the history of rock'n'roll?
Sorry for my shitty English

Yup ^

Tough call, but I'd probably rather be in a lifeboat with Jim Morrison or Anthony Kiedis than Gene Simmons or Eric Clapton.
Come on man, at least try to swim.

HOF.

I could probably take a couple hours with Morrison before I started assessing the life preserver situation. Not so, any of the others.
