reminds me of being in high school & partying at a good friend's older brother's shack. the doors were the shack soundtrack. said friend's older brother had taken to writing morrison inspired poetry. i remember one that was so epiphanic that it had to be tacked to the wall. the last lines read:

What the hell is it about that song? When I was a teen, my dad's MOR rock radio station played it hourly for years. Seriously, years. If I had to ride in his car there was a 50/50 chance I'd hear it.

There's nothing particularly repugnant about it except it's decade of ever-presence. Why did everyone want that song so much? Goddam it, it's playing in my head now.
