Yeah, I think with the wiper all the way open you could just test different resistors on lug 3 until you get your nominal voltage.tommy wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:41 amNot a bad idea. I would need something to limit the voltage at the top end to 5V though. I suppose I could use another internal pot or resistor to do that though.brownreasontolive wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:30 amCould you not get the cheapest volume pedal possible and turn the pot into a basic sag control?tommy wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:15 am Can anyone point me to a project where I can build a small 9-volt battery powered box that will output 0-5V (control voltage) that I can control with a standard TRS expression pedal? Basically like a standalone version of this: https://syinsi.com/shop/tiles/expression-pedal-cv/ Or it could be even simpler, like one of the attenuator in/outs of the Moog CP-251. I can't really read schematics, so a wiring diagram would be more useful.
Or if anyone knows of an existing one. If I'm buying one it can have more features if they are useful.
Otherwise I guess I can just buy Behringer's cheap ass CV pedal.
I suppose with a transistor, a diode and a couple caps you could also build a small voltage regulator that goes ahead of the pot?
Somebody smarter could tell you with more certainty. It can certainly be done!
Though either way, I'm not sure the DIY route would be cheaper than the Behringer option, unless the Behringer is missing something...
