2It's long been time for you, en masse, to externalise that screaming.

3Maybe this will be the missing piece that fires up voters for the midterm elections. Probably not, but how much more obvious can the intent of the conservative long game get..

4When trigger laws at the state level automatically make abortion illegal in (I think?) 13 states.. I do think you will see voters fired up.penningtron wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 7:19 am Maybe this will be the missing piece that fires up voters for the midterm elections. 5I just heard twenty states according to the BBC World Service.jfv wrote: Tue May 03, 2022 7:56 am When trigger laws at the state level automatically make abortion illegal in (I think?) 13 states..
Re: Supreme Court Sending Us Back To The Dark Ages
6Regardless of the exact number, I'm sure legislative branches in many more than 20 states will be preparing new laws restricting or banning abortion shortly.
The states will continue to divide further.

7Abortion rights is just the beginning. The conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court is just using it as test case before they move on to attack gay marriage and trans rights.
Re: Supreme Court Sending Us Back To The Dark Ages
8Do you know what I expect Americans to do about this? Nothing, nothing, nothing. Abortion will be banned. Nothing. The restrictive voting laws will pass. Nothing.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.
Nothing, nothing, nothing.

9This is what happens when an orange turd who lost the popular vote is able to appoint two cultists yearning for theocracy to the highest court in the fucking land.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

This is an incorrect assessment.
What this actually is?
It is what happens when you throw someone who won't accept that you don't get to go out on your own terms as a Supreme Court Justice on top of someone whose pride(or worse, actual stupidity...) won't allow them to run a unity ticket with Sanders that will actually stand a chance of defeating the "Orange Turd..." in question.
Obviously, protecting what even RGB pretty well said was a "Duct Tape..." fix was not important enough for either one of those folks to take a half a second and level with themselves.
