Barrington Tele. Pickup only in Aurora IL. $225 OBO. These were assembled in IL from Japanese bodies and necks. Parts were high quality. Duncan pickups, Gotoh tuners etc... I get that it's not exactly most people's cup of tea around here but for $200, this is a lot of guitar and would be super fun if you wanted something with a locking tremolo.

212Local facebook seller is listing these as "vintage ludwig drums, 1 bass drum and 4 toms"
She wants $450, they look like 79s? Beat up, but maybe worth a look for under $500?

213I saw that too. Sucks they are all concert toms.

214I couldn't quite tell from the photo and was hoping that wasn't the case.

215What sucks is there are only four concert toms. Would love to have a big octa-plus kit

216Here's a Traynor model I haven't seen before. I have to guess it's somewhat under-powered for shows, at least among our general group.

217My first real bass amp (1998? although I assume it was about 10 years old at the time) was a Bloc 80B. In terms of volume, I'd put it in a Basic 60/Basic 112 kinda space. I would describe the tone as "remarkably plain", but I'll give it props for being specifically hard to kill during a time where I was popping amps left, right & centre (ah, youth). Otherwise, not worth seeking out, IMO.Garth wrote: Tue May 31, 2022 9:49 am Here's a Traynor model I haven't seen before. 218Yeah definitely not a purchase I'm going to be making, but putting it out there as a wee curiosity. And for 100 bucks, would be probably perfectly good for practicing at home with reasonable amount of volume.frighteners wrote: Tue May 31, 2022 9:58 amMy first real bass amp (1998? although I assume it was about 10 years old at the time) was a Bloc 80B.
