Tell Jes the vocals remind me of Minutemen’s “Shit You Hear at Parties”, and that should be taken as a compliment.

Everything about this is great: the lyrics, the recording process, the mere weeks between recording and release, all of it. There's no reason every punk record shouldn't be made this way.

I just listened to the whole album and I’m pretty sure I heard a few more allusions to Minutemen.. particularly the Jort Authority song..

Thanks, Brian! That was certainly how I was approaching it as well.

Folks seem to be digging this, which is nice! I've already got a few riffs bouncing around, so who knows, maybe we'll be doing this in another year or two?

Really loving this record — especially the noise coming out of that Green Machine — and what a bonus to get a peek into how it was made. Thanks for sharing!
