I fucking hate brunches.

I share the brunch hate. Especially after moving out to Portland 6 years ago, brunches became a DIY thing.

I do a pretty mean brunch at home Sundays.

If you're waiting in line for brunch you are doing it wrong.

Over-easy by the widest of margins.

The old Lighthouse at the northwest corner of Western and Chicago used have fire fried over easy egg & cheese sandwiches. Go see Cows at the Bottle, then later grab a fried egg & cheese sammich before hitting Borderline or Red Dog.

Tempo had some great over easy sandwiches as well. Yum.

I did this this morning, and it was pretty awesome.

Alright so I just hard-boiled some eggs, peeled them and stuck in a pickle brine that I saved from some pickles I like a lot. Impatiently awaiting four days to eat them.
