I was initially a bit put off by all the hype they've received (in the UK at least - don't know how well-promoted they've been elsewhere), but I've been listening to their album over the last few days and it's better than I expected. Will probably be heavily rotated in indie circles over the summer as it's quite breezy. light-hearted music and several of the songs have strong hooks (including that one that cops the riff from "The Man Who Sold the World").

Don't really get the Dry Cleaning comparisons as the latter sound more grown-up and world-weary (and they have a better guitarist, no contest - even if his influences are easily traceable).

"Chaise Longue" also illustrates how ubiquitous the motorik beat has become - no doubt Klaus DInger would have deemed them rip-off artists if he were still alive to do so.

I hate music, it's got too many notes.

I still think “Chaise Longue” is a jam, and there are a couple of songs on the album that are good (but not as good). I’d still like to see them live. Unfortunately, their next Austin performance is at ACL Fest. I’m not going to pay THAT much money to see them.
