Yeah, that seems to be the case. AMAZING stuff gets up there, but then it goes for more money than the comparable item on Reverb, or at least not much cheaper considering you really have no idea how good the condition really is.

I got a mid-80s G&L SB-1 bass on there earlier this year, but it ended up needing a refret and I replaced the Duncan Bassline with a current G&L MDF P-bass pickup. Bass plays and sounds great, and even with that work I'd still likely turn a profit if I sold it.

Or maybe people are willing to pay the going rate or a little bit more knowing the money is going to a charity? Or maybe they've figured out how to write it off because it was Goodwill?
