Concert toms on the rack(s), but the floor tom has bottom lugs, so that's half the battle.

296I built that in Oct. 2008 and sold it to a dude on the TapeOp board who lived in Florida. Must be the original owner selling it.Kniferide wrote: Thu Aug 18, 2022 4:36 pmHEY! This just popped up in my EBAY feed. Tempted!

297anyone get anything decent on shopgoodwill lately? seems to be people get too into the bidding and pay way too much for anything slightly cool out of the novelty of finding in on shopgoodwill?
Re: TRAYNORetcALERT- The "Look What's on Ebay" Thread
298Yeah, that seems to be the case. AMAZING stuff gets up there, but then it goes for more money than the comparable item on Reverb, or at least not much cheaper considering you really have no idea how good the condition really is.TylerDeadPine wrote: Fri Aug 19, 2022 3:43 pm anyone get anything decent on shopgoodwill lately? seems to be people get too into the bidding and pay way too much for anything slightly cool out of the novelty of finding in on shopgoodwill?
I got a mid-80s G&L SB-1 bass on there earlier this year, but it ended up needing a refret and I replaced the Duncan Bassline with a current G&L MDF P-bass pickup. Bass plays and sounds great, and even with that work I'd still likely turn a profit if I sold it.

299Or maybe people are willing to pay the going rate or a little bit more knowing the money is going to a charity? Or maybe they've figured out how to write it off because it was Goodwill?tallchris wrote: Fri Aug 19, 2022 3:48 pmYeah, that seems to be the case. 300Too bad then, because Goodwill is a pretty sleazy charity.tommy wrote: Fri Aug 19, 2022 4:01 pmOr maybe people are willing to pay the going rate or a little bit more knowing the money is going to a charity?
