~YUP!!! except that my inner metalhead dig records like "Scattered..." and "occupational hazard" quite a bit... Unwound did little for me and has aged badly IMO like most of that post-fugazi/post-hardcore 90s stuff (see also:Jawbox, Drive like Jehu)...

I like that this is a contest between a band defined by restraint and one with a determined lack of it. It's like a thunderdome between Low and Coalesce if their names shared a prefix.

I suppose they both use a fairly limited palette to great effect.

Still can't vote, both are too awesome. All waffles.
