Their records are interesting. One of the better things with which Tom Smith has been associated. Live, they were a mess I think. Actually, I was more appreciating Adris' physical charms, than the music.

funny band, saw them play in n.orleans many years ago

they had a classic soundman encounter at soundcheck, which i wish i could recall

the only quote i remember was: "why should i turn down? you're gonna hate us whatever we do."

the one time I went to see them, they cancelled cause of van trouble. couple yrs later I find out they showed upo anyway and play and were amazing.

I saw them on their last tour and boy were they not crap. And totally not a mess, either.

I was just thinking about bumping this thread, I was listening to Harry Pussy this past weekend. The Magik Markers do not hold a candle to the HP, not even close
