Also, it sounds like Andy Taylor of Duran Duran has terminal cancer. https://www.cnn.com/2022/11/07/entertai ... index.html

Fuck cancer.
Middle age gentlemen here, do not sleep on your screenings. Get your PSA numbers and colon screenings done. Colon screening is age 45 now, and prostate may be 45 as well. If you don't want to be knocked out and probed, do the cologuard, but don't do nothing. It's very possible I'll be dealing with prostate treatment myself soon (will know more by end-of-week) and while I tend to be private about this stuff, I think it's important to evangelize early detection, as it's widely available and it seems a lot of folks my age aren't doing it.

My mom's lung cancer has returned, my first wife has it, and it just stole Mimi Parker from us, so yeah, fuck right off.

I learned last night from my manager that I've earned a 90-second shopping spree at a local grocery store, which will take place tomorrow. Anyone in the Portland area know of a worthy charity benefiting cancer-affected families that could use a restocking of their pantry this week?

Hoping for the most positive of possible outcomes *hopes* - This kind of thing is precisely what works to remind me to do that, thank you

The Mimi Parker news sucked - I was hoping my spouse wouldn't read it but, yeah. Everything to do with cancer coming back sucks.

Thank you. I am real reticent to predict anything yet but I feel positive about stuff and am not letting the unknown own my emotions.
