TX and FL particularly: those migrant bussing stunts, nothing? Texas: remember when you were frozen in your living rooms for like a fuckin' week, nothing? You said yes to more of that??

I hope abortion pills become easy to get cuz good fucking luck there.
The problem with Texas and Florida is the vastness and dominance of republicans in the rural areas. I have to look up the stats, but even with a 60/40 split in the cities toward Dems, the 80/20 in the rural areas combines to make it around 55/45 total.

Rich people in Texas are afraid taxes and crime. Rural folks believe the same. They have no idea how bad the establishment is fucking over regular people because they're so afraid of any change to their status quo. Then they turn around and complain about the roads and the lack of police - it makes zero logical sense, it's completely based in fear and free from any logical analysis.

Wisconsin has the added bonus of the fuckin' beer lobby. But we can buy Spotted Cow in coffee shops, whoopdee.

Went to bed dreading that the next Governor of Minnesota would be an anti-vax "doctor" who opposed a woman's right to choice and believed that schools were putting litterboxes in their classrooms for students who identified as cats. Woke up to Dems controlling all three legislative branches of state government. Not too bad a day here, then.

Oh yeah: thank you to all the centrist liberals that helped boost creepo JD Vance's name into the mainstream years ago. How about making another movie about his story
